Suzuki Coffee, operated by Sarika Gourmet Coffee Co (Singapore) Pte Ltd, is a brand synonymous with uncompromising quality and freshness in the world of gourmet coffee. With a history spanning over two decades in Singapore, and even deeper roots in Japan, Suzuki Coffee has established itself as a pioneer in the art of coffee roasting.

History and Philosophy:
Originating from a small kissaten (Japanese coffee shop) founded by Grand Master Kiyoshi Suzuki in Tokyo in 1944, Suzuki Coffee Co Ltd was born from a passion for coffee and the pursuit of perfection in roasting. Grand Master Suzuki pioneered the Sumiyaki Roasting technique, a traditional charcoal roasting method requiring high skill and precision, which remains a vital part of Suzuki’s coffee-making process today.

In 1979, Hideki Endo-San, the eldest and most talented disciple, inherited Suzuki Coffee Co Ltd. He saw an opportunity to introduce Suzuki’s unique roasting techniques and premium gourmet coffee to Singapore, establishing a pioneering gourmet coffee roastery there. Since then, the Singapore branch has flourished, even surpassing the operations in Japan.

Suzuki Coffee’s philosophy centers on the belief that coffee is not just a beverage, but a definite “existence” that contributes to one’s “GOOD LIFE.” They are committed to providing “a richer life for people through coffee” by constantly challenging the changes of the times and acting as creators of new value.
